Lovely traditional hotel, beautiful views, unbeatable location in the mountains of Nagano. Location close enough to Monkey park, shops and restaurants, train station and Snow Monkey park, and nearby adventures and sights.

The location was stunning, around 10-15 minutes walk from Shibuyu Bridge. A safe, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a refrigerator were available in our japanese-style quadruple room.

Located close to ski lifts in Shiga Kogen Palace and a short distance from Yudanaka station, this ryokan offers authentic Japanese experience with heating blankets and futon mattresses. The meals are a delight, with fresh and delicious produce, cooked by trained chefs with the fusion of both Japanese and French cuisine. Staff is friendly, attentive and goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. The onsen is exceptional, with multiple indoor and outdoor mineral baths and gives the guests the ultimate tranquility experience.
The rooms might not be most spacious considering the luxurious amenities and services.

it had particularly good location with access to baio-ji temple nearby.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair!

The hotel had a nice view of the river and the breakfast options had something for everyone. They had an option to fry eggs yourself with a candle flame which was super cool. It was also great that they offered a shuttle to the train station and for the snow monkeys.
The hotel lacked cleanliness and it was noticeable immediately upon arrival. The public areas seemed tidy but the room we stayed in was not up to par with our standards.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel had great facilities, including a relaxing onsen and clean rooms with traditional Japanese decor. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, making our experience even better. The location was perfect, with easy access to the train station and the Zenkoji temple. Finally, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of traditional Japanese dishes.
Absolutely nothing!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, private onsen with great view, delicious traditional Japanese meals, convenient location with nearby restaurants and attractions.
Don't have any issues at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the view from our room was amazing. We had a great time exploring the surroundings and the key attractions nearby. the traditional Japanese cuisine was delicious and we enjoyed trying new dishes.
The room itself was not up to par with what we expected for the money spent. We also tried the chargeable private open-air bath, but unfortunately, it wasn't as enjoyable as we thought it would be.
